What You Saw Tonight Was the Trump Effect

We may pass without a fix, but there are future generations that may be able to...though we have handicapped them with debt.... :(
Agreed do why is all this money going to the rich and not to pay down and eliminate the debt. That's what we should be doing.

We don't care enough to fix this system. I guess we deserve this.

Social Responsibilty requires persons to sometimes go for the best available option rather than sit outside acting holier than thou as you feed collapse onto the Children. Snarcking, nitpicking, anarchist, Benedict Arnold forkers.

You blokes feed the dirty media with your acceptance of collapse. The enemies of America use you like a $2 street walker. You dumb OXYEN offer nothing of value

We are where we are because of BOTH parties. This constant bickering gets US nowhere. We need to have the people vote on where this country is going and what they want and need out of government. Despite the political opposites the people overwhelmingly want and need health care. That should have been nationalized years ago. What good is all this innovation if most of the people can't afford it.

Yeah? I dont have answers for that. My first instinct is privatization, let them buy it. 609 lbs ordering grub hub you want me to pay for it?

Pre-existing? How to cover it? No answers from me.//

Don't feel bad republicans have never figured it out. Obamacare was a good start but the answer is health care like the rest of the world has. Less cost and better outcomes. Plus you're not supporting a bunch of parasitic insurance companies and pharmacy kings will lose their monopoly over US. Everything will be better soon enough. If trump sabotages Obamacare it will advance that timeline that much faster. Only problem is the cost of lives in the meantime.

The unaffordable care act?

Voters prioritize the economy above immigration and crime in Election 2025, AP Voter Poll finds

then we should remind said voters of the HUGE increases in the costs of living that the Dems caused in the last admin ! we are still suffering from Bidens disaster of an admin !

Republicans felt the wrath tonight of voters rejecting Trump's agenda. The biggest issue for voters was the economy, with half listing it as their number one focus. Almost a year into his second term Trump has failed to deliver on the economy as food and energy prices continue to rise and 60% of voters disapprove of his handling. Republicans have lost their gains with Latino voters. In New Jersey, 64% went for Sherrill citing the economy and his handling of immigration has their largest concerns. Trump almost won New Jersey in last year's election largely due to the swing of Latino voters to the GOP. Gen Z voters also did a 180 and overwhelmingly backed the Democratic candidates after backing Trump last year. Overall, only 37% of voters approve of the job he is doing.

These numbers are abysmal and it's the only way a man like Jay Jones can get elected to the top law enforcement office in the state, despite his sociopathic comments about his opponents' children being publicly leaked. It's not just "blue state" statewide offices either. Down ballot, Republicans have lost 11 seats in the Virginia House Delegates, taking the Democrats' 51-49 majority to 62-38. In Georgia, Democrats defeated Republican incumbents in statewide races for Public Service Commissioner. In Pennsylvania, they are sweeping judicial races across the board.

MAGA appears to be repeating the same errors of the 2018 midterm election cycle, denying that Trump is an albatross around their necks by not delivering what the people want. They went on to lose 41 House seats that year.

Well, the last time the USA had deflation was 2007-2009, then you have to go back to the 1930's. The problem with democracy is the poor education of the voter, so the Democrats will pick up votes.

When health care becomes a right instead of another business most can't afford anymore. Then we won't be having these sad discussions.

This is how not smart our president is.

He says it's not his fault.

Then he blames the shutdown that he wont allow the GOP to negotiate over.

He is literally too dumb to connect these dots.

I know , it's sad to have all that power when he negates it every step of the way.

Virginia is a Blue State. So is New Jersey. New York City is overwhelmingly Blue. Thinking this election means that the Democrats are now ascendant is amusing. This was not a rejection of Trump's agenda, which remains extremely popular, it is liberals in liberal States and cities voting against Trump the man. If any of those elections had gone to a Republican THEN it would been the electorate sending a message!
