What to do with the $800 billion the illegal aliens send home?

It's our money, they shouldn't be here in the first place. This kind of spending proves the tax payers Pay way too much. We deserve more tax cuts.

How is money paid by their employer for work performed ….your money?

The money sent abroad increases the value of money in the US and inflates the money where it is sent. You want to overtax people who send money because you don't like them, you sound like a communist.
Says the guy that thought Biden's mind was good. This proves that Americans are over taxed. We shouldn't encourage people to break the law to come here. Then totally support them.

If they are documented and overstay their Visa they are here illegally or they sneak in but the ones that are documented are not here illegally since there are laws pertaining to those people.

However the OP is about taxing remittances for those:
  • Here legally
  • Here illegally
  • Citizens who migrated here (I.e. migrants)
I’m assuming non immigrant citizens would be exempt from the tax.

Again, an example of bumper sticker solutions without thinking it through.

What's missing from the equation is how to address employers here, big and small, who hire and subsidize illegals. They can afford to pay low wages when the state picks up the tab for health care, schools, housing, administration and policing, and they can also refuse native workers for the same reason. The gooberment has to subsidize them too n addition to the illegals There's no law requiring temporary workers to be citizens, that is something that we have imposed on ourselves for political reasons.

Fine we go after both. Tax the money illegals send out the country and also tax the hell out of the employers so that hiring illegals will cost double then hiring US citizens.

OK
If you want to tax their work, then give them temporary work visas, let them work legally, earn a fair wage and pay taxes

Are they working for cash under the table?

Now you can read thoughts, oh my, you must be special, right out of the CIA LSD drug trials. I hated Biden since he was an officer in the Drug War and I was a drug dealer/smuggler.

Why are you blaming employers? Are you a Democrat or something?
They are a part of the problem and therefore must be a part of the solution. Instead of subsidizing illegals ( who will work and work hard, at least newcomers) who employers here can hire at reduced wages, subsidize the difference between illegals wages they are paying and a living wage, and give employers incentive to hire Americans. If the Americans still won't work, discontinue inflated benefits to make them not unhappy. It will work, but we have to be consistent in our goals.

No unfortunately I just read your post and can see how you think. You know, I think for myself and you do as you're told too.

What a cruel concept

People escaping abject poverty who work hard and send money to those left behind. Take their money and give it to Billionaires

If money is not going to families left behind, doesn’t that encourage them to come to America
Yeah but that's just it, a lot of them DONT come to America. I used to live in south Texas and the locals there (many who were from mexico) said that a lot of these illegals work here for a few years, a send as much as they can home, and then they go home themselves after.

That $150 billion is a biased figure that ignores the substandard wages these people are paid without benefits.

These migrants contribute more to our economy than they take out. Why not tax employers of illegals to compensate your $150 billion?
That is where your money is
Illegals pay about 96 billion in state, local and federal taxes, but they send home 800 billion (if the article is correct correct)

How is the contributing more to the economy than they send home?

Remittances should have been taxed all along. A 50% tax is reasonable.

Then post a message I posted where I thought Biden was great like you claim. I won't wait cause I know you have none.

I am sure they earned it and can do as they please with it.
