3. Repair our relationships with our NATO allies

4. Rehire the employees at the state department, and inspector general's

5. Properly vett incoming Federal employees for experience and qualifications, rather than hiring his family and friends

6. Release the little children locked in cages along the southern border to their parents, and restore our voter approved immigration system

7. Hire people based on qualifications rather than just white males and ex models

I never said online shopping did not contribute, but depending on the area, it's not the sole reason for stores closing up.

Walmart is what's known as an Anchor Store in the merchandising business. Smaller stores depend on the customers Walmart draws to their store to expose their own business. After people get done shopping at Walmart, or didn't find what they wanted at Walmart, they go to these other stores.

A sister suburb of ours built a new mall about 12 years ago. It was centered on Walmart signing a contract. After Walmart signed, other stores jumped on the bandwagon. Unfortunately, a couple of years later, Walmart found a way out of the contract because they wanted to build a Super Walmart which the mall had no room for.

After Walmart left, the other stores slowly folded. They lost their customer base. The mall is still open, but a lot of empty stores and quite frankly, looks awful now.

So Walmart doesn't close stores, it helps them open up and survive.

Walmart is what's known as an Anchor Store in the merchandising business. Smaller stores depend on the customers Walmart draws to their store to expose their own business. After people get done shopping at Walmart, or didn't find what they wanted at Walmart, they go to these other stores.

A sister suburb of ours built a new mall about 12 years ago. It was centered on Walmart signing a contract. After Walmart signed, other stores jumped on the bandwagon. Unfortunately, a couple of years later, Walmart found a way out of the contract because they wanted to build a Super Walmart which the mall had no room for.

After Walmart left, the other stores slowly folded. They lost their customer base. The mall is still open, but a lot of empty stores and quite frankly, looks awful now.

So Walmart doesn't close stores, it helps them open up and survive.

We have two Superstores here and one Market Walmart. None then contribute to the brick and mortars at all. Walmart no longer builds the stores they used to build. Groceries are more profitable. And then they stock just enough of the dry goods to put the brick and mortars out of business. I have too many years working for Walmart to buy that Walmart is any good for any community at all.

Folks, this is no joke, this is war. This can really happen to where you live if Biden gets in. As a person who lives in a suburb destroyed by low income HUD housing and low income people in general, trust me, it's no fun when you have to travel a half-hour away to go shopping because all your stores closed up due to theft and violence.

Yes, it's all because of this policy, and not that Brick and Mortar Stores have been on the decline for decades.

Funny. Those brick and mortar stores are doing just fine in other places around here. All of our major stores closed down because of theft and violence; not just in my suburb, but surrounding suburbs that suffered the same fate.

The problem with you commies is that one can point to a beautiful green lawn, tell you that it's green, but if CNN tells you it's purple, you'll insist it's purple. When are you going to start thinking for yourself, or is not thinking logically and for yourself a prerequisite for being a lib?

Yet, in Detroit, not a single Brick and Mortar Business was destroyed. The Community said they had enough and protected them. If a City won't do that they don't deserve those businesses.

It was Dr. Joe's notion that the reason our stores closed was because of Amazon. My contention is that it's more than that. Stores cannot stay open with massive shoplifting and crime in general that makes people fearful of going to such stores, especially after sundown. Nobody wants to go shopping and either get robbed in the parking lot, or only to find their car stolen when they get to their parking spot.

Back to point, this is where Biden wants to take the rest of America; to insert low income people renown for crime and violent crime into suburbs that are currently beautiful and safe. The Socialist concept is to make everybody equal no matter how unequal they actually are.

The facts remain that stores like Walmart, Target, etc.. have had a negative effect on the brick and mortors. Now, the stores like Amazon have cut into Walmart. The Shelves aren't as full in Walmart like they once were. Many items, if I want to buy them from Walmart, I have to go online and buy them. You can't change reality.

Then read up on it. It's a model business strategy. A mall with a bunch of mom and pop shops just don't cut it, especially if there's a Walmart within 20 miles of them. That's what anchor stores are all about, to draw people to that mall or shopping district. I have no idea where you live, but over here, you're not going to find a Walmart sitting by itself in the middle of nowhere. It's always surrounded by a mall or shopping area.

Their thing is staying busy all the time because the commie Mayor hasn't replaced retiring officers, and weakened their ability to do their job. Cleveland officers are not that easy to find. That's besides the fact that ONE guy said the officer was not range ready. Even if that was true, it's no reason to fire a guy. It tells you the mentality of the department if that's the cheap excuse they were giving.

No, I was never a victim of it. Do you know why? Because I always cooperated with police whenever I was pulled over, and we drivers get pulled over 10 times more than people who don't do that job for a living.

Yes, I ran into assholes from time to time, but I never challenged them on the road. One time I reported a state trooper, but obeyed everything he told me to. When I got home, I wrote to the Governor, my state rep, and the Ohio State Patrol explaining what he did. Never seen him since.

The UK is 87% white compared to the US which is 70% white. The main reason they don't have police brutality is that their cops are held accountable. It's also nice that they don't let every asshole who wants a gun have one. When they see a kid playing with a toy, they realize it's a toy.

Their black population is about 3%, and no Hispanics living there. Those are our two most violent races of people in this country. They also have a terrible time with knife killings. Some areas like London banned knifes being carried on any person. Again, apples and oranges.

Sounds to me like your suburb failed to work people in, but that has nothing to do with the program. Frankly, if every white person had a black neighbor, they might actually do something about racism in this country.

The noise, the filth, they have living room furniture in the backyard next to stolen shopping carts and used tires, surrounded by two foot tall grass. The cops have been there more than a dozen times in the past near three years they've lived here.

People of different races can live together in peace. People of different cultures can't. White folks live with all kinds of people with no problem: Hispanics, Asians, Middle-Easterners, the Jewish. If Biden gets his way, don't worry. He'll be moving people like my black neighbors next door to you. Then see how you like it.

Uh, quite the contrary, what Walmart does is goes into a community, undercuts all the local merchants, and when main street looks like a ghost town, they pack up and leave, because, hey, you have to drive that dreaded half hour to get to the next Walmart, you will.

There are very, very few cases like that. In most instances, they are the Anchor store and they draw business and tax revenue to a community. Malls and shopping centers couldn't survive without them.

That's not how Walmart operates. Walmart moves in with the intent to undermine all the mom and pop's, then when they are gone, they close up and you get to drive extra.

The guy was weaping and crying on a gun range because his girlfriend dumped him. Not to mention he hadn't held a job for five years before Independence hired him. Yes, I'm sure Cleveland has a hard time replacing officers, given they have to keep paying out huge settlements for police brutality. Maybe they need to work on that.
