I think it would be a great name for a woodworker looking to project a tough, potentially violent, right-wing image. I was Wood Butcher on a couple of boards back during the age of dinosaurs.

I have known a bunch of wood butchers from the construction trades and several from the remodeling trade specifically, sadly a few from trim carpentry and even the odd stair building guy. The butchers always knew a cheaper, faster way.
