Zone1 What makes Christianity different from other religions?

The political movement was started 250-300 years after the supposed events as a political tool to gain power.

To gain control.
Incorrect. What evidence do you have for your conspiracy theory?

This thread has shown it is no different to other religions.
How many of the other religions began after their leader was executed and then rose from the dead?

What on earth difference does any imagined story make to a religion?
It’s a pretty big difference. You said there was no difference.

The first Christians worshipping Jesus as God isn’t an imagined story. It’s historical record. Non-Christian historians recorded it.

You are aware that Christians worship Jesus as God, right? When do you believe that began and why?

I said there was no difference in Christianity to any other religion.

They all depend on logic defying made up stories that are defended zealously by zealots.

Same ol', same ol'.

Just ignore the historicity that Christianity was founded after its leader was put to death.

Some Christians have it that Jesus is part of a Trinity. I think their position is that Jesus has always been part of it.
Pretty good trick to be one's own father, wouldn't you say?

You mean YHWH didn't demand sacrifice of itself to make it 'forgive' its creations?

Ok.
Correct. Your inability to separate embellishment from the authors descriptive portrayal of reality is systemic. Life is unfair. Expect to make sacrifices.

Interestingly, I've never considered that Jesus was the founder of Christianity. I've always thought that to be Paul.

I would say that the nature of God is beyond our comprehension and that the mystery of the trinity is our best understanding.

It’s not a mystery to be solved. It’s a relationship to be entered into. One that has powerful rewards in this life. I’m more than happy for you to miss out on it.

So why did YHWH sacrifice himself to himself?
Because he knew that some of his creatures like yourself would put him on trial daily. So when you complain to him that he made a crappy unfair world he could say, I know and I punished myself for it so you would have no argument.
