But what is the alternative? Is the alternative to go back to the Joe Biden era of limitless and unfettered immigration, as sanctuary cities catch and release illegal immigrants who have broken the law time and time and time again only the end up murdering or raping someone time and time again? Or was it Ok just to let as many foreigners come across the border that wanted to come as the US took on the responsibility of feeding and sheltering them all?

No one likes the police when they disagree with a law they try to enforce, or disagree with it being applied to them incorrectly, but what is the alternative? Is the alternative to have no laws, or try to pick and choose laws to enforce that only you like and agree with?

Obama sued Arizona for trying to enforce federal laws on immigration, and won so they had to abandon it.

Then when Trump won access to the federal government, those who had the ability to constitutionally enforce federal immigration laws, the Left raised up sanctuary cities to protect them from the federal government who wanted to enforce the federal laws.

So no, local law enforcement has already been proven to not have the authority to do anything about illegal immigration, especially in states that do their best to protect them.

Senator Klobuchar expressed the sentiment exact: Almost all Americans support border protection and immigration law enforcement, what they dont support is the tactics and lawless approach to their jobs being performed by ICE currently. Federal agencies are supposed to work FOR the people not AGAINST the people - even legal immigrants and people with brown skin and accents.

ICE needs leadership replaced immediately.
