I am that retired stable, self-sufficient guy, that trained your troops (and trained the well, btw), safeguarded your equipment, sent in to find and recover your equipment (literally in the Million$ of Dollar$), and called overseas to work well above pay grade, because needed for my skills and then, invited back. I am the guy that raised 3 good, smarter than average kids, never in jail, never in debt they couldn't handle, even immediate after college, as they graduated with very little debt. I have managed logistics, inventories, purchasing, production schedules, as well as hiring, training, and on occasion firing the people that made it happen. Of course, I have seen it all or a heck of a lot of it, and nobody ever paid me to get excited or emotion driven, generally preferring me, because I didn't get excited, or emotional, as both of those interfere with rationality and control, when others were losing theirs. There are millions of me across this country. We are what make the place work.

I'm not quite sure what you are trying to express.

Isn't threatening to "destroy" "these demons" (or people you consider demons) also an ominous threat to those with different opinions?

While I consider many of the more strident slurs against Kirk distasteful, I feel that it is more important not to start down that slippery slope that always leads to the evisceration of the targeted, hard won Right.

In this case, that targeted Right is the First Amendment and democracies around the world are already limiting it to keep from vexing the wealthy, influential and selectively offended individuals and institutions.

I appreciate our moderators' unwillingness to restrict Free Speech as dramatically as some would like.

In other words, it is only your opinion that vulgar individuals who celebrate the murder of the innocent are "...highly untrustworthy and dangerous..."

Meanwhile, Kirk's critics may hold a similar opinion of those who were fond of Kirk and his messages.

I only feel that it is dangerous to further limit the things we can say or write.
