I work M-F and my job is in Central Vegas and just getting through my usual 6 hr work day feels like an utterly arduous task
I am constantly trying to diffuse situations and get toxic folks out of my store
You work six whole hours a day?
Wow!
I live 45 miles north of the Twin Cities.
Low taxes, very low crime and the only shooting you hear is target practice or hunters. Accidentally left garage door open all night and nothing happened. Imagine that.
We don't even have a city police department relying on county Sheriff's for local law enforcement. They spend more time on accidents on the local divided highway.
Meanwhile, down in Mpls, complete urban decay, crime, riots, burned out businesses, high taxes, and no shortage of virtue signaling.

So there's a lot of violent crime.
While the national media try to hide the orgy of violence in this country, the local media still follow the "if it bleeds, it leads" formula. Therefore, we are able to know about most of the violence in this area.
It ain't a pretty picture. Murders and assaults every day.
That's America, 2021.

I don't know how y'all stand it being so hot. My mom complains about how hot it gets here in east Tennessee. P.S. The hottest that I can remember it ever getting here is around 102 degrees, but that has not happened often at least not for as long as I have lived here which will be 25 years in one more month.
I lived in the US for 45 years and Ireland for 25 years. We are freer over here. I would say the evidence backs ME up.The evidence seems to back me up.Or you could be wrong.

Itās like being in a giant outpatient psych ward .
2/3 of the folks here are mentally ill
1/2 are drug addicts or alcoholics
3/4 are genetically damaged
3/4 are dead broke
1/3 - are very violent
Itās a giant sewer pipe
Now tell me about your city !!!

Great police, fire and 911 services.
No Democrats bother to run for local office anymore...the choices are all on primary day.
I can think of a single downside.

Vegas does not have big murder problems as the city is 12 percent black only
We do have too many bad folks
Las Vegas has skyrocketed in population to 2.7 million !!!

I was always amazed when we visited my uncle in Excelsior Springs.
Every store you walked in was staffed by white people and I mean every one of them.
