I cannot imagine anything beyond blissful joy and learning every day. What else could paradise hold?

Life is all about learning and using what you have learned. Our souls merely take that up to new, unimaginable levels - the same as aviation, movies and cell phones would have been to the ancients.

Heaven is about all knowledge, compassion, oneness and bliss with the Supreme.
There is nothing to do because all is done.

per some books, people just lay on clouds all day and eat grapes, sounds very boring to me

is there entertainment in heaven?

- might depend on what's out there and how fast to reach one destination and the next and materializing a physical form would be very important.

Earth is supposed to be heaven once the Mashiach arrives. Well, at least a perfect harmony in the world.

Some suggest we are already in heaven but unfulfilled. Others suggest reincarnation or another level of essence beyond our world.

That's the great mystery really, isn't it?

I don’t know nor do I really care since I would t want to be there.

My hope is for a kind of Valhalla-esque library, gaming and sporting nerd/geek-ville.

I agree it is a great mystery. As a fervent reader of Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys as I was growing up, I learned the first thing they did was search for clues. Could our first clue be God is Creator. Those who are creative are seldom satisfied with creating a single thing. They continue creating. I believe our second clue is that we are servants of God. Those who have servants, have work or a purpose for them. Third, Jesus mentioned there are many dwelling places, which I take to mean many ways to serve, many purposes.

Finally, on Earth we are given choices. If we are given a choice in heaven of where and how to serve, how much thought have we put into it?

I know many hold no belief in purgatory/purification before entering heaven. I do. If there is a place for me in heaven, and if a purpose is to reach out to those in purgatory, if it aligns with the will of God, that is where I would like to lend a hand.

The greater question may be reserved for the existence of hell.

Following the logic, good and evil, there must be consequences for violators of G-ds Commands, right?

Yes, which is where we face more questions. God's justice and God's mercy. Where does one end and the other begin?

IMO, we first need to define consciousness which includes the origin of life. Since we cannot create life, it must already be present everywhere. We are part of that life so, our consciousness may not come from within but, from without. IOW, it was always there and always will be. Heaven is that realization and the recognition of something greater. Some call that God.

It can only end if G-d or the victim forgives.

There are many more who will require my forgiveness than vice versa that's for sure. All we can do is make up for our sins, ask for forgiveness by those we've wronged. G-d demands this.

Probably people who dont try to use their imaginations to peek are the least surprised when they get there.
