Curious, has anyone had problems today, Wednesday with PayPal transactions?
I had all kinds of issues.

Anyone else?

I actually canceled my PayPal account yesterday, haven't used it in years.

Do you have a shop and the PayPal problems involve customer purchases with paypal, or is this you....trying to make personal purchases?
Me doing a purchase. I did twice Tuesday with no issues.
Never had a problem before.
I tried two transactions while my card company was on the phone. Neither showed a transaction on their end.
I ended up purchasing the same items on Amazon with the same card I use on Amazon, no problem.

What's the point of using PayPal when you pay directly with a card?
I use it all the time when making eBay purchases.

That said I don't have a penny in my actual PP account, it just routes to a checking account I set up for the purpose.

Any monies from stuff I sell on eBay goes into that account, not into my PP account.

It's seems a lot safer than using a debit card.....I had one of those and it was hacked three times before I just quit using it and went with the checking account routing....No issues in years.

I deleted my card yesterday and it wouldn't let me reenter it. Pretty sure they had a problem. I'll try again.

I tried going through customer support and it's AI driven to a point. I got tired of it and I said F you. After that it was jerking me off with the same question and no matter what I said after that, it just kept asking the same question.

LOL

When it first started I used PP. It seemed convenient, but after a period of time I realized that every single dispute was settled in favor of the merchant and against the Joe. It took some effort, but I quit the system years ago.

Every dispute I ever had they paid right away.
