Iran seizes an oil tanker headed for the US and other things have happened around the world over recent years, which in the old days would have been acts of war. Today, they don't seem to be. So, exactly what is a real act of war that would require a military response? Doesn't seem like anything is anymore.

Depends on how critical the materials being hijacked are to the destination cluntry I suppose. Iran and the U.S haven't liked each other for a long time.

After all these failed wars causing massive death and destruction, you want more?

Ever here of the Mayaguez...or the Liberty?

I didn't say I wanted more. I asked a simple question, what is an act of war?
Okay. The USG‘s foreign policy has become an act of war. Sanctions are an act of war. Blowing up energy pipelines is an act of war. Supplying a nation at war with weaponry, intelligence, and military training is an act of war.

Today? An act of war is "misgendering" a trannie.

What Democrats are trying to do to America is an act of war.

Democrat impact on the US is doing far more LASTING DAMAGE to us than Iran seizing some ship.

America's #1 enemy are the puppets currently in power -- The D.C. Swamp!! They answer to the higher powers of the United Nations; the World Economic Forum; and the Banking Cartel.

China exporting their virus to the US just in time for the 2020 election.

WASHINGTON, April 28 (Reuters) - The U.S. confiscated Iranian oil on a tanker at sea in recent days in a sanctions enforcement operation, three sources said, and days later Iran seized another oil-laden tanker in retaliation, according to a maritime security firm.

Maritime security company Ambrey said the U.S. confiscation took place at least five days before Iran's action on Thursday. "Ambrey has assessed the seizure by the Iranian Navy to be in response to the U.S. action," it said in an advisory to clients.

"Both tankers were Suezmax-sized. Iran has previously responded tit-for-tat following seizures of Iranian oil cargo."

So, you're really saying there is no such thing as an act of war anymore. In other words, you agree with me. Countries can do pretty much whatever they want and not have to worry about it.
