If a new benefit were to come up like, free cars for the poor? the cost of that would only be taken from the democrats. Leave this to the items that do not fall directly under the responsibility of the Federal Government as outlined in the constitution.
How many new Republicans would we see? Do you think anyone would actually become a member of the democratic party?
This would be an excellent way of finding out who really wants to pay for these social freebies, and who expects others to pay for them.
