Whether it's 2011 or 2021, why pull our troops out of Afghanistan? We will only have to send them back in sooner or later. Probably sooner.
Hallelujah! That would have been the reaction. Unfortunately the big eared Nobel Peace prize winner was as big a warmonger as dumb W.What if America had left Afghanistan in 2011 after the end of Bin Laden. If Obama had said mission accomplished we got him now we are leaving what would the peoples reaction have been then?
We will always have to send troops to that part of the world. It's just the way it is.Nope.. Go back for what?

I would have cheered and sent a letter of congratulations. If Bush had pulled out of Iraq after he declared mission accomplished on the aircraft carrier with all the fanfare, I would have a much softer opinion of his stupidity, also. What if America had left Afghanistan in 2011 after the end of Bin Laden. Why? Their own well-equipped (by us) army was not even willing to fight to attain our view of a modern free society, throwing down their weapons and beating feet for the borders of neighboring countries by Battalion and Brigade size numbers.Whether it's 2011 or 2021, why pull our troops out of Afghanistan? Poppy fields.Vermont, our poorest state and Bernie's state of record, has a GDP of 28.2 billion U.S. dollars
Afghanistan has a GDP of 19.2 billion US dollars
That's how Afghanistan has defeated empires, it's poor a.f. There's nothing in the country worth fighting over.
..a lot of people think wars are like board games--they are not--they are very complex --ESPECIALLY wars like Iraq and Afghanistan..you just don't ''pull out''' like it's a board gameWhy? Sometimes the only winning move is not to play.....it's more complex than people think ....
