What if America had left Afghanistan in 2011 after the end of Bin Laden. If Obama had said mission accomplished we got him now we are leaving what would the peoples reaction have been then?

I would have cheered and sent a letter of congratulations. If Bush had pulled out of Iraq after he declared mission accomplished on the aircraft carrier with all the fanfare, I would have a much softer opinion of his stupidity, also.

Why? Their own well-equipped (by us) army was not even willing to fight to attain our view of a modern free society, throwing down their weapons and beating feet for the borders of neighboring countries by Battalion and Brigade size numbers.
