But the Jews are trying to take down the statues and yes, they were there for the statues. Their original permit was for the foot of the Lee statue. Why Lee? He had nothing to do with Jews at all.

They would protest at the capitol for taking down a confederate flag, or protest at schools for segregation. As much as we can all agree that their ideas suck, at least there was some connection. So they call the event what? "Unite the Right" - say they are there to protest the statue of General Lee being pulled down.
