So far we haven't seen a list of 'illegal orders' that they seem so concerned about. In reality, they are attempting to urge soldiers question their superiors orders. This isn't the first time congress has played political games with the military. Recently we saw six members of congress, all vets, giving advice on 'ignoring illegal orders'.

As former vets, is there no military code of conduct these people still need to follow? Is it legal for them to be going around telling our troops to operate a coup against the USA?

Oh yeah--- it's not against the USA, just President Trump.

Advice or an act to subvert the chain of command?

Obviously looking to subvert the chain of command. To date, I have not heard yet of a single "illegal" order being opposed.

So far we haven't seen a list of 'illegal orders' that they seem so concerned about.

I've asked at least a half dozen Progs here ranting about these "illegal orders" to give me a list or even just one of these orders that is "illegal"; so far, NOT ONE OF THEM HAVE ACTUALLY GOTTEN BACK WITH A SINGLE ILLEGAL ORDER.

In reality, they are attempting to urge soldiers question their superiors orders.

Bottom line: if any soldier actually refuses to carry out an order for it being "illegal," they win entertainment points watching Trump's military get disrupted and soldiers going to the stockade. At the very best (their hope), an order of Trump's really will be deemed "illegal" by some judge somewhere.
