What happens when congress does political theater with the military?

During the Black Hawk Down incident in Mogadishu, Somali militiamen attacked the soldiers who were trying to relieve the crew. After the fighting began, the militiamen sent women and children out in front of them, believing they could use them as human shields and that the soldiers would not shoot. However, the soldiers fired and killed women and children. Were those American soldiers guilty of a war crime? Did they follow illegal orders? Should they be prosecuted?

Unity of command is a very important concept in the military. Without it, nothing can be accomplished.

Tl, dr; don't care

Your blob's would be assassin was a registered republican.

As it was
As it is
As it always will be.
Tell us again how peaceful and lawful your murdering party is, moron. Amusing how you turn tail and run when your ass is handed to you. Run along now little girl. Learn your history before you run your mouth.

Recently we saw six members of congress, all vets, giving advice on 'ignoring illegal orders'. Advice or an act to subvert the chain of command?
So far we haven't seen a list of 'illegal orders' that they seem so concerned about. In reality, they are attempting to urge soldiers question their superiors orders. This isn't the first time congress has played political games with the military. What follows is a video clip by Carl Higbie with real life consequences of congress interfering with the military chain of command. Near the end, he explains how it affected the units.

'Politicians stood with the Iraqi people'........................translates to 'congress stands with the illegal immigrants'

We also see leftists denying the silly infomercial was aimed at Trump when there are explicit references to “the current administration “,

Yeah. I noticed that these idiots were telling individuals in the military not to obey illegal orders and yet not one of them gave an example of illegal orders the military has been supposedly following. So, they want thousands and thousands of service men and women to all decide for themselves what is legal and what is illegal. What could possibly go wrong with that?
