If they are going give that scumbag rapist a new trial, it's hard to imagine they wouldn't do similar for the former President, President-elect found guilty on horribly spurious bookeeping charges. That gives Merchan and easy out - "Evidence that was admissible at the time, has now been ruled inadmissible by the Supreme Court and defendant is entitled to a new trial."
