What happens now that a Convicted Felon has won the presidency?

He cannot pardon himself, because the charges are state charges. It is very, very unlikely that the NY Governor will pardon him. His sentencing could be delayed or reduced, but jail is still a possibility. In the trump way of doing things, he will delay, appeal, and deny...hoping that the charges disappear. And they certainly may, but MAGA must be proud of their Felon in Chief.
He's not been convicted.

Still trying to use the same shit that got Trump elected.

Pathetic.

What will happen is the appeals court will bail out the trial court, and NY will be happy for this to all go away.
There's a decent chance Merchan himself will dismiss the case.

And you wonder how he won.

Prosecutors have requested a delay until 11/19, and what will most likely happen Bragg's team will concede on the constitutional immunity issue and dismiss the case. Bragg's team would save face and avoid potential and harsher legal consequences later on—like an overturned conviction or public criticism for pursuing a weak case.

Democrat lawfare is nearing its end, at least in the short-term.

The American people have spoken and rendered their verdict on the "convictions" - all of them - the two impeachments, and nearly-infinite number of slanders, rumors, and blatant lies told about him. They (we) have considered all of this, as well as his record of past successes and failures, achievements and failures to achieve, and found him not only innocent, but worthy of being our President.

Deal with it.

As far as the legal procedures, niceties, and mandates, fuck all of them. He will never spend a night in jail or prison, pay a fine, or forfeit anything of value because of his convictions, even though they are apparently legal. There is no apparent path to getting his convictions overturned on appeal, as they surely would be if it were feasible, time wise.

The civil judgments will go forward and if there is anything that can fairly be called "justice" in the New York civil law, they will be shoved up the ass (figuratively speaking) of his accuser(s), who may well be countersued for legal costs and expenses.

Just another "ring" in the "circus" that is Donald Trump's world. God help us.

He won't. He's too committed to it. better to have the appeals court be the "bad guys"
If it does go to the appeals court they will savagely criticize the ridiculous reversible errors committed by Merchan. He will not come out well in that reversal.

Exactly .. there will be consequences for moving forward with sentencing, and I suspect Merchan will take the high-road with Trump coming into office.

Please continue to double down on stupid for the next four years, ensuring a Vance win!

Can the DOJ pursue "prosecutorial misconduct" charges?
Would Bragg need to defend his charge counts in a real court?

Remember it's a NY State appeals court, not a Federal one.

You get to watch this country rise from the ashes. You need to just shut up and sit down and enjoy the fruits of Trump's labor...
From the ashes of what....historically low unemployment....2.1% inflation? trump will screw them both over within a year....

Don't know I'd call it the high road. He gave his party what they wanted - a guilty verdict. Now, I think he will be in an ass covering mode.
