The chickens and some turkeys caught it from wild birds. Scientists don't know how bad this is going to get. And if it will spread to mammals. The reason I came on here today is because I found a dead cat iny backyard. No visible injuries and it wasn't old. These feral cats eat wild birds. Could it have died from bird flu ? If that's happening we're in trouble. All our mammals we eat eat grains in turn. Some wild birds eat grains and manage to get into animal enclosures quite readily. It could spread to them too . Anyone up on this ? Is it happening or not or not yet ?
