What does the Constitution mean to you?

If scotus was intent on banning abortion, they would have taken that step instead of issuing dobbs..
Oh how naive you are. Or gullible.

But that’s not enough for anti-abortion extremists. They have a detailed plan to use all the aspects of the federal government to destroy access to abortion and strip away even more of our reproductive freedoms.

The reelection of Donald Trump and Republicans winning control of the federal government threaten the future of abortion rights, regardless of the state you live in. That is undeniable.

This will become clearer in the coming months when we see more challenges to access than we’ve witnessed in the two years since the fall of Roe v. Wade. This will happen regardless of what candidate Trump said all summer.

Trump has switched up his stance on abortion rights multiple times and now insists he won't sign a national abortion ban. I don't believe him. Vice President-elect JD Vance has said that he'd support a “minimum national standard."

Even if a national abortion ban does not come to fruition, the federal government can still heavily restrict access to the practice. Project 2025, the Heritage Foundation’s plan for a Trump presidency, wants to curtail access to medication abortion, as do other anti-abortion groups.

There’s a bill in the House that would outlaw obtaining a medical abortion via telehealth.

Conservatives have proved that they won’t back down from attacking reproductive rights.

If it's murder, why wouldn't they hope to one day pass a law outlawing the practice? Oh sure at first it will be "except if you are raped or incest".

Like I said, Republicans are not done with their goal to make abortion a crime of murder. If they were satisfied with what they have now why this?

The Republican-controlled House Judiciary Committee advanced a bill on Tuesday that would repeal a 30-year-old federal law created to safeguard abortion clinics — even as violence against providers and clinics has skyrocketed since the Supreme Court ended federal abortion protections.
The Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, also known as the FACE Act, was enacted in 1994 by President Bill Clinton in response to escalating violence against abortion clinics. The law made it a federal crime to use force or the threat of force to injure, intimidate or block any person trying to provide or access reproductive health care services. While the law has primarily been used to protect abortion clinics, it also protects fertility clinics, anti-abortion pregnancy centers, churches and other places of religious worship from similar violence.

Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) introduced the FACE Act Repeal Act of 2025 earlier this year

But, they already turned it back to the states. Having the federal government try and start making new laws about it would go against the Supreme Court ruling.

The good thing about Dobbs is it protected abortion from the federal government.

^ Lying lib bullshit. Why didn't he do so when he had the 4-year opportunity to do so? Because it isn't true. That's why...
