The vision of build back better is to repair, renew or replace our rusting infrastructure. The upside of this vision is two fold: 1. Making bridges, tunnels, canals and rivers, dams, highways;, our railroads and the electric grid, airports and sea ports safer and more secure; 2. Providing hundreds of thousand of private sector jobs; revenue to the Federal Government when high paying jobs pay their taxes; spending their earning on Main Street and adding the taxes to local and state coffers, passing on fixing pot holes and dangerous intersections, and making structures safer from earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, fires and floods.

The antithesis to this vision is fiscal conservatism, aka kicking the can down road and waiting for bridges to fall, homes and businesses destroyed, people killed or badly hurt and billions of dollars annually a result of natural disasters.
