What do you think Hell is like ?

The popular Christian version of Hell is a fiery pit, void of Mercy, filled with endless torment. Is this what you believe it to be ? Before someone asks me, I'd have to tell you what I believe Heaven is like. I believe Heaven and Hell exist in the same place. A parallel universe of non-corporeal, pure energy beings. God is one with us, not separate as he is here as he is here in the physical universe. I don't believe that for a minute but most people on earth do. In this parallel universe ( I call it the Universe of Light ), God ( all of us ) bask in the warmth and beauty of the light. Hell exists for some, they exist in the fringes of the parralel universe, far from the light, it's warmth and beauty not even perceptible anymore, hopelessly existing, if you could call it that, in the darkness and the cold. This is my spirituality, religion if you wish to call it as such. Now, please don't be shy and tell me what your beliefs about Hell are. All are welcome. No judgment by me here, but I can't vouch for the other posters on here. If you choose not to express yourself that's perfectly fine with me. Have a great day and have a great life. Thanks, Stan.
Eternal separation from God.

I don’t believe in Hell as a singular environment. I truly believe that we build our own Hell based on our improper and immoral thoughts, words, and behaviors.

If rapists, murderers and child molesters can get into heaven simply by accepting Jesus in their hearts the moment before they die, then heaven would be filled with rapists, murders and child molesters, so i would agree that heaven would be hell. Literally every man who has ever been on death row would be in heaven, and they are the worst of the worst.
Why don't you think people should get a chance to repent? But even if a lifetime sinner repents on his deathbed, there will still be a heavy purgatory sentence that has to be worked off before you gain entry into heaven.

The idea of purgatory was first developed by Jacques Le Goff in 1170. It was incorporated into church dogma in 12:15 as a way to get more money out of the populace. They started selling " indulgences " where you could buy your way into heaven or someone else's way into heaven for a certain amount of money. In other words it was a racket. This was one of the things that finally sparked the Protestant Reformation and the Catholic Church stop selling indulgences in 1567 because they realize it was the wrong thing to do, to fleece the people out of even more money. Plus it was earning them great disrespect.

So he is a 1,000 year old serial child molester then. Not great company.

That's not possible.
Of course it is possible. God has agency and free will. Just like us. He's not going to force himself on anyone who rejects him.

Why do you believe being eternally separated from God is impossible?

It's a matter of Justice then. My mother was a saint, worked for the church and never missed mass. I'm sure she's in her heaven. My dad was a mean drunk who used to beat us kids, he never went to church, on his deathbed he asked for forgiveness. Because of that single act you think he really deserves to be in heaven. I don't. It's just another scam. And any religion that would offer that is just as evil.

Sounds like you have judged the person. What was his life like as a kid?

Heaven and hell myth aside, that's for God to judge, not you. God knows the heart. You don't. Right now, both parents are sleeping in the grave awaiting the Return.

That's interesting that you believe in heaven but don't believe one can be eternally separated from God. So do you believe that everyone goes to heaven then?

Oh I forgave him long ago. I knew his whole story. His father died when he was 12 years old and his brother was 16. His dad was killed in the coal mines. Right after the funeral his mother talked to both of them and said that the older boy the 16 year old would have to go and work in the mines now to support the family. He freaked out and ran away from home. He left the useless life, he was a bum on the Bowery in New York City. My grandmother then turned to my dad and said you're going to have to work in the mines but they don't allow 12 year olds to work in the mines so he worked outside the mines picking up cold that have fallen off of the cars and putting them back on. Once he was 16 years old then he was loud in the mines with the with the old drunken miners. He soon accompany them to the bars and became a drunk. When all of his friends were getting married he decided to get married and had seven children. I don't think he could deal with it very well at any rate we all survived a few broken bones a few scars from the whip that he used on us. I wouldn't be who I am today if it wasn't for going through all that. Ironically he died in the coal mines when I was 16 my brother was 12. Fortunately my mother knew better and did not ask me to go into the mines.

But you don't believe he deserved to go to heaven because of his deathbed confession?

I don't believe in the religion that said such a thing. If in the end he did then maybe that saved him. I don't believe in being saved. We save ourselves simply by existing and trying to improve ourselves. But yes in my opinion he was not worthy, but that is my opinion. I don't believe in a hell in the first place.

If you don't believe in hell or being separated from God then what difference does it make what anyone does?
