Just to reiterate, Libs are the rich, so the progressives are asking the Libs to pay a little more in taxes until the country is on its feet again. Progressives are not demanding that you lazy slackers on the Right pay any more in taxes.

A fantastic example of my assertion would be Illinois (my state) every ******* county with the exception of cook county is RED - that includes the north shore (where the rich live)...
The only blue county in Illinois is COOK COUNTY - the county that holds Chicago and the welfare *****....
Every county you find condensed housing projects - that county will be democrat. Any county that is predominately middle class or wealthy that county will be republican..
This is because the democrats use the poor as a tool - they promise to steal from the rich and generally middle class and give free money to the welfare ***** as long as they vote democrat...
I'm from the Chicagoland area - I see democrats pandering everyday... We pay $1.00 every 10 miles on the expressway so democrats can give free money to their voting base, they put cameras up on every street light and every traffic light just so democrats can catch people for minor driving infractions so they can be fined so the DEMOCRATS can generate revenue to hand out to their voting base so the elitist progressives can keep their power base...

Again, that completely defies logic. Need I remind you that on the average Libs earn more than CON$. So you can't have 90% of the wealthy and 75% of the middle class being CON$ervative and earning less than the remaining 10% and 25% Libs!!! Averages don't work that way in a logical world. If as you say, the welfare ***** are the Lib Dems then the majority of the wealthy have to also be Dems to offset the poor enough for Libs to AVERAGE more income than CON$. That's how averages work in a logical world.
This is why when CON$ claim they are "logical" they are just plain lying. They take a false premise based on their prejudices, like the poor are Libs and the rich are CON$ and then rationalize that Libs are on welfare. But a rationalization is not logical, it is pure emotion.
Another thing CON$ do is take one isolated situation and project it upon the the whole. That is completely illogical, but you just did it with your Chicagoland BS. I highly doubt if any of your crap is true, but even assuming your crap was true, it is illogical to assume that what happens near you means it happens the same way across the entire country. CON$ themselves admit that the richest areas of the country elect Dems!!!

Heritage Foundation identified two categories of taxpayers - single filers with incomes of more than $100,000 and married filers with incomes of more than $200,000 - and combined them to discern where the wealthiest Americans live and who represents them.
Democrats now control the majority of the nation's wealthiest congressional jurisdictions. More than half of the wealthiest households are concentrated in the 18 states where Democrats control both Senate seats.
