Trump has the anti-Trump vote joined together with the neutral vote(and much of the anti-Cruz, Rubio, Kasich vote) against him and he is still largely winning.

If people are at least ok with Trump but like another candidate that is still in the race more, then they will vote for their preferred candidate over Trump.

Trump could probably destroy Rubio or Kasich in just about every state if Cruz dropped out(oh, you want an outsider eh?), and likewise he would probably do a little better against Cruz in the west with Kasich gone.

Trump has the total package in his coalition while the other candidates obviously are abusing the paranoia of the Republican Party elite to salvage any vote they can, he is going to win the delegate count pretty much no matter what happens.
