I don't know that the "time" is really more dangerous. Our times seem more dangerous because of our 24/7 news cycle. It was much easier to keep things hush-hush years ago than it is now. Pervert have been around forever.

I would think by three or four years old and maybe still have diapers on at night for a while. This however is just lazy parenting. Kids need encouragement. They're never going to learn without it.

Hopefully by the time they reach the age of 18.

I have been saying this for years: we now have kindergarteners come to school not potty trained. I'm talking wearing pull ups, not just having accidents.
