What about the down ballot?

With his aggressive inability to deal with the pandemic and his life long racism on full display, there seems little doubt that Trump is toast in November. At this point he seems more concerned with monuments and getting rid of Obamacare.

But, what about other Repubs running for re-election? With a massive defeat staring Trump in the face, he could very easily be responsible for collateral damage that costs Repubs the Senate, as well as keep the House in the hands of Nancy. What a legacy for Trump to leave benind!
its not the job of POTUS to wipe the noses of every american because their a little sick,,,

only useless idiots want the government to do for them what they should do for themselves,,

at some point people need to stop blaming others and do for themselves,,,

Jeez...No. It's the job of POTUS to take the job seriously. When you're briefed about a possible pandemic coming to the US, do something about it. You alone have the power to mobilize federal agencies and direct them to act....if you only knew anything of how government functions. You Trump supporters need to stop giving him a pass and realize that he is largely responsible for where we are at right now.
after you read the duties and responsibilities of POTUS in the constitution get back to me,,,

That would be a waste of time because you and your ilk have your own ideas of what the responsibilities of the lord and savior your worship are.
Compare Obama's handling of the H1N1 response a decade ago to how Trump responded to COVID-19...Hint..there is no comparison. That's what leadership looks
like and that's how government should function. And before you hit me with the N95 masks replenishing tripe, keep in mind, Republicans had a hand in making that happen.
thanks for stopping by,,,,

Keep whistling past that graveyard. Republicans on the down ballot are essentially tied to Trump. In the Senate, more Republican seats are up to contest than Democrat. With Trump's "popularity" and the current country mood, that spells trouble for Republicans. Unfortunately, it doesn't get any better for Republicans in 2022. Once again, they have 22 Senate seats up for contest to the Democrats 12.

And we haven't even gone into the Governors and Mayors. Demographics are shifting away from Republicans. Unless they do something to appeal to voters outside the bloc of middle aged, white heterosexual Christians, they will likely be swept out of power for a long period of time.

So you don't think that if Trump were to lose big time as you project, that Kasich and Weld and the Bush Family won't be able to win?

Wow lets score your opening post, lie, lie, lie, lie, and lie. Talk about the mother of all strawman arguments. :eusa_hand:

I believe that a sensible, sane Republican COULD win. But, then again, I believed that in 2016....right before every Republican candidate that could have taken on Hillary Clinton was beaten into pulp by the cult of Donald Trump and the zealots who supported him. Here's the problem with the Republican Party. They appeal to a narrow minority of the voting population. They haven't even tried to appeal to communities of color. In order to do that, they would have to start espousing policies that helped these communities.

As the head of the country, it's his job to be the point man for at least directing the proper federal agencies into action.
But he has no interest in doing his job. And you sycophants love him for that.

I sure hope those republicans on the ballot are also voted out of office.

They don't deserve to be in our government.

Great for him!

Wow, that President Donald J. Trump sure IS a racist, isn't he?

Has he ever held a black person's hand when he wasn't at a PR event?
he did better,,he boinked a black girl,,,
GREAT for him!
glad it excites you,,,
I'm being purposely facetious. But it DOES excite me just a little bit, and I WON'T tell you WHERE that little bit IS. (Yes, more sarcasm.)

Has he ever held a black person's hand when he wasn't at a PR event?

Many years ago (long before Trump ran for president) a black lady with mental problems walked into a conference room in Trump tower & refused to leave.

The top guy of Trump tower was going to call the police but decided to call Mr. Trump first to let him know about it.

Donald Trump went & spoke with the lady himself...she was homeless & had mental issues.

Donald Trump put her in a hotel room (Trump Tower) had room service delivered to her 3 times a day & had a dozen roses delivered to her room once a week. He would call her & remind her she needs to eat.

That went on for years! It might still be going on for all I know.
