I go to war when I read a journalist, a wordsmith - confuse "prevaricate" with "procrastinate". The number of times I've read senior (ie in Aus - Canberra press gallery) journos use "prevaricate" when they mean "procrastinate" is amazing.

I'd love to actually do something about it but I'm such a prevaricator that I never get around to it......

I just woke up, and I accidentally forgot to type the "n". I need my second cup of coffee before I can actually practice standard English.

I'm sure, if you have the time and interest in spell checking and grammar checking people's posts, you could spend all weekend trolling around the board to serve that function.
