He is addressing an Alt-Right scenario. One has nothing to do with the other. :)
Well then, let me see if I can make it clear: if Puerto Rico joined the Union and became a state, and then the independence movement revived and they tried to leave the Union, what should happen?

Stop. We are addressing the Confederacy, slugger.
Address the question. Stop dodging.

Slavery as protected by the Constitution. And the North refused to offer the South it's right and protections under that Constitution.

That was the sole reason.

It is unavoidable at this point that this ^^^ little punk is just trying to defend slavery. Disgraceful.

Puerto Rico is not a state.

After the traitors bombed a US base.

If the traitors win millions continue to be rape murdered. If the traitors lose, they don't.
Nobody hurt by the confederates. When Lincoln invaded VA, a lot of the Union were killed.

Lincoln started the war at Sumter.

The first act of war was Anderson moving to Sumter from Moultrie, against the agreement made, while negotiations of the forts was taking place.

Then the next act of war, was the refusal to send Anderson back to Moultrie, when S. Carolina gave them the opportunity to avoid war.

Then the next act of war was to send the Star of the West to reinforce Sumter with troops, arms, and supplies.

Then later Lincoln took command and sent other ships to reinforce Sumter,

As far as the first 'shooting' act of the war, one could always point to John Browns invasion of Virginia.

Not stupid on the part of the South. You can't let the enemy remain in your country and reinforce it at will. Best to take care of him now while you can.

Sumter was US Property
It had made no threatening moves towards Charleston

The way to gain control was through diplomacy not a military bombardment

Another stupid move by the Confederacy to provoke a war with the United States

I'm dodging nothing—unlike some who lack intellectual courage. Ask me a question, and you'll get an answer as honest as I can provide.

Racism is free speech
So is bigotry

You are free to support slavery
Just not celebrate it on our town

History tells us that the flag that flew from the stern of slave ships was the Union Jack and sadly the American flag. Today's left ignores history because it is easier for the ignorant to blame the Confederacy than share the guilt for slavery.

Would you accept Puerto Rico as a state and admit it to the Union?

B

If the people of Puerto Rico were to vote to petition to join the Union (which they won't), the Congress would have to debate and vote on whether or not to accept them for statehood.

They made war on their own country. They died. Good. All Americans should be proud that we murdered those fuckers. You should be proud we freed an.entire people from savages.

Are you proud to be an American?

No, the South seceded. So again, how are we the traitor? The North brought the war in refusing to let the South go. A whole lot of yankees died also. Murder would be the correct word for many the North killed.

You call me traitor, savage, and glad so many of us traitors died, then ask if I am proud to be American?

Once South Carolina seceded Sumter went back to S. Carolina.

The movememt of Anderson from Fort Moultrie to Fort Sumter was the act of war. Plus, anderson destroyed the arms left in Fort Moultrie before he left. All was a threatning move and broke the agreement that no arms or troops are to change till the negotiations are finished.

The South was trying to negotiate. That is what Anderson destroyed, and the North refused to send him back, and instead decided to reinforce him.

The North provoked the War. Which is what they wanted. Made them look like the good guys. Made the South look like the evil people.
