Welp Oregon is getting DESTROYED by INDIANA. 28-7 and Moore just fumbled again! And it's the second quarter.

Can you say ouch for Oregon? Moore has two fumbles and a pick 6 to start the game. And it isn't even half time yet!
Not good for the draft. He looks likes Jet material. Oregon though has some injuries from starters and even deeper in a position or two.

I am a Hoosier, all my life.
I live in Bloomington. This is a trip, Basketball history with Coach Knight is THE greatest sport love I have ever had.
Saying that, Coach Cig has a lot of the same characteristics as Knight - Discipline, preparedness and execution - AS A TEAM.
You are witnessing what happens when you apply discipline, team mentality and character to young players in a league that has none of that. As Coach Cig says: "We win because we have a bus full of dedicated players who fully buy into discipline and preparedness."

As for the game - it was over halfway through the 2nd half.
Why? - Anyone who watched this game could see that the Oregon players looked defeated already. That is what an un-disciplined team looks like when they are use to winning and are getting beat. They can't handle it.
When you take a powerhouse team like Oregon, and they still were outscored by the opposing teams 2nd string?? Something is wrong with their coaching.

Indiana is really good but they won't have it like that against Miami. I think it should be a good game. I'd say 7.5 points is a little high

Yep that's why I started this thread when it was 28-7. It was obvious that Moore's mind wasn't right and the Hoosiers defense was dominating.

I thought Indiana would win but dang lol

I love how Cignetti runs it up. FTW
He is so much like Coach Knight was.
Only thing missing is the temper and hatred for the press.
They both use a disciplined-centric philosophy using preparedness as the main weapon.
Like Knight, never focused on a scoreboard. Never. Always treating every minute of a game as, in the words of Coach Cig "it is always 0 to 0".
You are 20 points up, doesn't matter. You play like every moment is crucial.
That kind of disciplined approach beats the pants off of organizations like Oregon that are all focused on recruiting 4 and 5 star players. Thinking all you have to do is get the talent, and let them play.

What Cignetti has done in two short years is simply unprecedented. It's the most amazing job I've ever seen, albeit helped immensely by the current NIL/transfer portal rules. It's simply incredible.
I'm pulling for them to smoke Miami in the championship game. They beat my Buckeyes so I'm pulling for them now in Ohio State's absence.

I heard an incredible stat on Mendoza yesterday. In the playoffs he has twice as many touchdown passes as INCOMPLETIONS. That is insane.
