I am not one of the wealthy but I am a staunch believer that punishing the wealthy is an affront to Capitalism; especially when spending is egregious and out of control.

Income inequality is universal; even in Communist regimes. Get used to it. The difference is that economic opportunity is more equal by comparison in the United States to any other country.
