We will get him THIS time....

I have yet to see a single item from Cohen that damns the President. So much for the pipe dreams of the democrats AGAIN.
What do you mean “this” time? This is still part of the first time.
And yet NOT one thing to damn the President, 3 years of whining crying and foot stomping cause Hillary lost and NOTHING....
Lol other than his top confidants being revealed as felons and his family currently labelled as persons of interest. Remember, in all this time Individual #1 has managed to only answer 2 questions, and those only in writing. Until last month, the GOP controlled all power, and used it to run cover and block any oversight over your dotard. If we get desperate and find ourselves in a 6th, 7th, or even 8th investigation, like you trash heaps did with Benghazi, THEN you can brag that we haven’t found anything. Well, other than all those felony convictions of top Trump people.

So, when do the impeachment proceedings begin?
For Trump? Hopefully soon. For Gorsuch and Kavanaugh? Maybe as far as 2021.
Both of those nominations are illegal, because Trump himself is illegal.

Yea, because you morons keep claiming President Trump is guilty of some crime. All this talk by Dems, and nothing to back it up by.
So, when is Pelosi going to start the impeachment proceedings?

6 explosive revelations from former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen's testimony to Congress

"Michael Cohen will present a check to the House Oversight Committee Wednesday signed by Donald Trump, which the president’s former lawyer says was reimbursement for hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels.

"In prepared remarks published hours before his testimony, Cohen said the check is proof that Trump knowingly conspired to prevent negative stories about his personal life becoming public.

"The testimony will also include allegations of..."

Trump lied to the American people about paying off Stormy Daniels.

Why shouldn't he be impeached?
According to Cohen Trump lied, but what proof is there?
Trump said he didn't know about the $130,000 dollar payment, and he lied about that. That is proof.
Proof of what? That is was embarrassing?
Criminal liability! He said he knew nothing of the payment, yet, his signature is on the check of reimbursing Cohen. It's a legal embarrassment. It's also evidence of an illegal election.
Again you nor anyone else can prove that check was for anything specific. Trump paid Cohen as his lawyer NUMEROUS times over the years.

The hush money check: "'I am providing a copy of a $35,000 check that President Trump personally signed from his personal bank account on August 1, 2017 — when he was President of the United States — pursuant to the cover-up,' Cohen said."

6 explosive revelations from former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen's testimony to Congress
lol How do we know what this check was for?
We know what it was for. The question is, how come it wasn't reported on a financial disclosure? Answer, because Trump wanted the payment to Stormy Daniels to be hidden. That is why he lied about the payment on Air Force One. And that ties into what Cohen's checks were for.
So why didn't he want the payment to Daniels to be public? To avoid problems with his wife? To avoid personal embarrassment? To prevent it from being an election issue? It's all guesswork, and regardless of the reason, it is not a crime.
So why didn't he want the payment to Daniels to be public? To avoid problems with his wife? To avoid personal embarrassment? To prevent it from being an election issue? It's all guesswork, and regardless of the reason, it is not a crime.
It doesn't matter what Trump's motives were for engaging in election fraud, and there's no "guesswork" involved about what the consequences will be.

A new report says Trump was directly involved in campaign finance crimes

"So what does all this mean for Trump?
To get a sense of what prosecutors might be driving at, it’s useful to review the specific campaign finance charges Cohen pleaded guilty to back in August.

First was 'causing an unlawful corporate contribution' to a federal campaign.

"Prosecutors alleged that Cohen 'caused' AMI’s $150,000 payment to Karen McDougal, and that that violated the law because it was effectively a campaign contribution for Trump, in excess of the legal limit on what a corporation like AMI is permitted to give to a campaign.

"Second was that Cohen made an 'excessive campaign contribution' himself, by paying $130,000 to Stormy Daniels.

"This, too, was effectively a campaign contribution for Trump above what Cohen was permitted to give, prosecutors said.

"Now, prosecutors have amassed evidence Trump — Cohen’s employer — was personally involved in and informed about both of these payments, and was encouraging Cohen to make them happen.

"So it certainly seems that Trump himself may be vulnerable to similar charges, considering how involved he was in both of these payments."
Obviously, this issue is still going way over your head. Once it is determined that the money was paid by Trump, there is no crime in the hush money payments.

The check! It's the smoking gun; Cohen friend: Testimony was 'peek inside the criminal enterprise'
First off, it is not a crime for Trump to pay the hush money from his personal funds. If it was determined by the federal elections commission that the hush money was only to try to influence the election, it would have been a crime for Cohen to have paid it from his own money, as Cohen first claimed he had, because it would have exceeded the legal limit for campaign contributions, but since there is not limit on how much a candidate can contribute to his own campaign, it is not a crime for Trump. How stupid do you have to be not to be able to understand that?

Second, Cohen had been receiving checks from the Trumps for ten years and there is no evidence what that check was for. How stupid do you have to be not to be able to understand that? Clearly, it is time for you to do a stupid check on yourself.
but since there is not limit on how much a candidate can contribute to his own campaign, it is not a crime for Trump. How stupid do you have to be not to be able to understand that?
It is a crime if the (stupid) candidate does not disclose the payments.

It is also stupid for a candidate to lie about such payments:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opin...ory.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.cf5a1e3180c7

"Campaign finance reports are rife with vague disclosures of expenditures.

"The campaign probably could have tucked the hush money into a disbursement marked 'legal fees,' and no one would have noticed.

"Or Trump could have just paid those bills himself. A candidate can spend without limit on their own campaign, although it still must be disclosed."

FACT CHECK: Trump's Misguided Defense Of Cohen Payments
It is the responsibility of the campaign to report all contributions, and if it fails to, it is a civil matter that is handled with a fine, not a criminal matter.

One thing for sure, you know zip about the law. Hiding the payment from a financial disclosure is a federal crime.

And how many people would have changed their votes, knowing he had paid off porn stars before an election? Exactly, we don't. That leaves a big hole in the "we don't know", making this an unfair election. We have the right, as voters, to see the results of that vote count, that never will take place. That right was stripped from eligible voters.
First, it is the responsibility of the campaign to report contributions and every campaign is fined after an election for not reporting all contributions. Second, while Cohen claims that in his mind the hush money payments were campaign contributions, there has been no legal finding that they were not strictly for personal reasons.

Finally, how many people would have changed their vote if they had known about the hush money before the election? Exactly zero, since the issue is of interest only to people like yourself who are rabidly opposed to the President for other reasons.

No, you have clearly lost any little mind you may have had. The President has not been found guilty of any crime. Take a pill.

The court hasn't declared that crime as being guilty, but for the same exact crime that he initiated and signed the checks for, that Cohen is going to prison for, doesn't give Trump immunity against the same crime he engineered.

Your ignorance is off the charts, because you do not understand the statute as written. You really do not have a clue. How stupid do you have to be not to understand that Cohen is going to prison for a crime Trump engineered, and signed for? Pretty damn stupid.

And if that isn't enough, Cohen is also going to prison by conspiring with Trump on insurance and bank fraud, by inflating property he bought for $7.5 million dollars, then takes out a loan on that property valuing it at $291 million dollars.

Again, there is no crime associated with a candidate making a contribution to his own campaign and that is the whole story. All the rest is bullshit.

What’s illegal about Trump’s hush payments to women, briefly explained

"Cohen’s campaign finance violation, briefly explained

"It is illegal to make an unreported donation of more than $2,700 to a candidate in a general election.

"The initially unreported payments to McDougal and Daniels far exceeded that: McDougal received $150,000 as part of a 'catch and kill' deal with American Media, Inc., and Daniels got $130,000 as part of a nondisclosure agreement.

"Arguably the value of keeping such information secret was even higher than that.

"The campaign-related purpose of the payments is clear: to hush up potential sex scandals in the weeks leading up to the presidential election — a time in which the Access Hollywood tape and a string of sexual assault allegations put Trump’s treatment of women under a spotlight.

"The payments mostly succeeded in keeping the McDougal and Daniels stories out of the press before the election, and Trump went on to narrowly prevail over Hillary Clinton...."

"It’s clear that the McDougal deal was meant to benefit Trump’s campaign as well.

"On Wednesday, federal prosecutors announced that as part of a non-prosecution agreement, American Media, Inc. now acknowledges it paid McDougal 'in concert with a candidate’s presidential campaign, and in order to ensure that the woman did not publicize damaging allegations about the candidate before the 2016 presidential election.'

"When the Wall Street Journal published a report last month about Trump being more involved in the payments to McDougal and Daniels than was previously known, Vox’s Andrew Prokop detailed the specific campaign finance charges that Cohen pleaded guilty to in August..."
And Cohen is going to prison for it. What about Trump?
And Cohen is going to prison for it. What about Trump?
I think that depends on whether Trump wins a second term. At least for some of the charges we've seen so far, statute of limitations could expire before January of 2025. If he doesn't win in 2020, he will face multiple indictments on federal and state charges two years from now. Considering he is currently subject to 17 different investigations and Democrats have only recently taken subpoena power in the House, we could see many more charges over the next 20 months.

I think that depends on whether Trump wins a second term. At least for some of the charges we've seen so far, statute of limitations could expire before January of 2025. If he doesn't win in 2020, he will face multiple indictments on federal and state charges two years from now. Considering he is currently subject to 17 different investigations and Democrats have only recently taken subpoena power in the House, we could see many more charges over the next 20 months.

Which is why the campaign finance charges that Cohen is going to prison for that Trump engineered, needs to be taken up as impeachment hearings or declare a null and void election, based on the fact the scheme started before the election, not after. And by the way, we now know there are four individuals associated with hijacking this election to hide bad things that the American people should have known. Weisselberg, Jr.,Trump, and Cohen.
