Zone1 We need a left vs. right experiment

Yeah, criminals like you want their victims to be unarmed, defenseless.
You don't approve of these citizens being armed it seems;

Given that a gun is 43 times more likely to end up killing a household member than a bad guy, um, no.

I know of three people who were killed by a gun someone brought into their home for "Protection".. Two suicides and one Domestic homicide.

I know another person who chased his wife down the street firing at her. When the cops took him into custody, he had something like 16 guns in the home.

However, where I live there are firearms in most homes, and not a single person I know has been involved in any of the garbage you just mentioned. Which means all that probably has more to do with the people you know Joe, which also would not be surprising.

Actually, no, not really.

The first was a white middle class couple, where the dad shot the mom and then tried to clumsily dispose of the body.

The Second was my next-door neighbor. He had cancer and decided to end it. The tragedy was that he shot out his window a couple of weeks before, and the local PD didn't take his gun after he lied to them about it.

The third was a coworker. Middle class family, the parents went out for dinner one night, and their teenage son offed himself with a rifle.

You telling me who they are, when I accept that you know them and their tragic stories, has nothing to do with what I posted other than the fact you know people like that and I don't.

There is nothing to argue with nitwit ... There is not a "no" for you to protest with on your part, unless you want to retract everything you posted and claim you don't know the people you are talking about. So, make up your mind.

Think for once dude, because your feelings just aren't hacking it. :p

It's not my fault you don't have any friends.

Statistically, 46,000 people are killed in gun violence every year. You should know of at least SOME people who died from gun violence.

You're making crud up again about me and anything I posted, and only so you can attempt to ignore reality, which is an excellent example of ignorance.

All people killed by violence are killed by someone breaking the law, so get a clue and understand that a law doesn't stop that you nitwit. Even in the case of suicides, the person is suffering from mental illness and if they have a firearm, they are breaking the law,

So just stop trying to make an unreasonable point reasonable by pretending you can wave the 'magic empower the government and write more laws' wand and create a fantasy world, and simply enforce the existing laws. It requires the presumption of innocence for people who haven't violated the law, and the desire to protect the rights and liberties of law-abiding citizens, which is not a terribly difficult thing to understand.

Except every other country that limits or restricts gun ownership doesn't have these kinds of problems.

Actually, my point is perfectly reasonable.

Restrict who can buy guns with background checks and hold the gun industry responsible for reckless business practices. Problems solved.

We aren't every other country so you could have stopped right there, I did you nitwit.

Works out to one out of 7,737.3 persons.
Odds are he/we/they might not know even one who died from gun violence, personally.

You really need to start providing sources and verifications for the numbers and data you toss out. Otherwise it's valid to consider you just making things up.

Which many of us have considered the case for some time now.

Stupid idea.
We can't hold any manufacturer responsible for misuse of their product.

But that faulty line of non-logic means we could hold persons like you who want to disarm citizens and not allow them to protect themselves SHOULD be held responsible for enabling criminals to commit crimes. In which case you should have been locked up long ago as a danger to society.

Authoritarian fascist progressive liberals are so ineffective at ever accomplishing anything when it comes to personal accountability and effective law enforcement, the only thing they can ever offer is attempts told hold an entity not directly responsible for the actions, accountable for the shit those nitwits will never fix until they have completely trampled on everyone's rights.

It completely ignores our founding principles, and all for what, nothing more than the next empty promise of what their continued abject failure can rob us all of in power, freedom, and liberty in order to make the people little more than subjects to a miserable corrupt and damn near useless ruling class in Washington DC.

Only a fool learns from his own experiences, a wise man learns from the experiences of others.

You might think that 45,000 gun deaths and 70,000 gun injuries are acceptable, but a lot of don't.

Except we already do. Bars can be held responsible for overserving their customers.
Big Tobacco was held responsible for the health problems they caused.

Naw, that's retarded because DGU's are a myth.

Nor Delaware, Maine, Rhode Island, Montana, Alaska, Wyoming, New Hampshire, or Vermont.
The list would include others like North Dakota and South Dakota, but a recent uptick is fossil fuels reserves there have caused at least a temporary increase in population.
Those are all better than MAGA. States.

My own experiences regarding our founding principles and as an American are not best described or explained by foreigners from other nations.

Likewise, my extensive experience overseas, directly impacts my understanding of how absolutely different we are as Americans than any other swinging dick on the face of the planet in many ways. While it also allows me to have direct experience and knowledge dealing with other nations and I understand exactly why the majority of them adopted at least some of the principles identified and defined in our own US Constitution and in regard to personal responsibility, freedoms and rights.

And that's not because they did a better job before we did, so you can stop talking out your ass, nitwit.

Yawn, our founding principles were slavery and genocide. Thankfully, we've moved past that.

They are doing a better job now. Americans are the dumbest people in the industrialized world.

Didn't I just tell you to stop talking out your ass, because those are not the principle identified and defined within our US Constitution that the other nations did adopt.

If they are doing a better job by your estimation, it is because they followed our lead in many ways, we are not them, we have more restrictions on the powers granted to the federal government, and their citizen don't have all the rights and freedoms we do.

So, just stop it, because you are still not talking about reality or America, and just spewing nonsense that does not respect our founding principles or documents. And you can quit pretending it will ever be any different, because how you feel isn't part of it.

Tell us about Arkansas.

Again, this country was founded by slave owners who wanted the right to exterminate the natives for their land.

you do have a point about other countries following our lead, though. When Hitler was devising Concentration Camps, he used Indian Reservations as a model.

Let's get off our high horse, and admit that we have a lot of problems. One of them is gun violence. The other is dysfunctional government.
