We don't care about no stinking ASBESTOS

Read the link(s). Multiple agencies and groups attempted to contact the White House to discuss the issue. No response.
Keep doubling down on your ignorance. Just because you don't know what you're talking about doesn't mean everyone doesn't.

The commission does not have jurisdiction over demolition of a federal building, only the construction. Will Scharf, the Trump-appointed chair of the commission, relayed that position during a public meeting Sept. 4.

"It is, in fact, the case that this commission does not have jurisdiction and it has long denied that it has jurisdiction over demolition and site preparation work on federal buildings and federal property," Scharf said. "What we deal with is essentially construction ‒ vertical build."

Some are upset about demolition at the White House

Yes, we know who.

Standard procedure in DC, as well as most of the country is to file a publicly accessible inspection to determine if and how bad the asbestos hazard is. No indication that any inspection was done.
Since you have not seen that an asbestos evaluation was done, it doesn't mean that one wasn't done. It just means you haven't seen one.

Some are upset about demolition at the White House, especially after promises that the existing building wouldn't be touched. Now there are fears that cutting corners is posing a danger for everybody working in the Whitehouse.

The White House was built when asbestos was commonly use in construction. There is little or no chance that it will not be encountered and require extensive abatement procedures. There is no record of any abatement procedures being done. There isn't even a record of inspection to determine if asbestos is present.

Several agencies have attempted to discuss the potential hazard with the White House, but received no response. It's very likely that everyone in the White House is being exposed to friable asbestos all because trump wants to cut corners.

Your desire to create controversy is absolutely pathetic.

Da asbestos! Da asbestos!

BULLDOG you were right, they don't care about asbestos.
They also don't care about rising food costs, insurance premiums doubling (or worse), the potential for a war in the Caribbean, or any number of other things as long as they get to hate the people they want to hate and "own the libs".

Perhaps not if the president told them not to worry about it. If they followed standard procedures, there would be public documentation showing results of initial inspection as well as what abatement procedures were followed. None of that is available.

Trump has more important things to do. Now I could see Billy and Hillary cutting the inspection and keeping the money.

The link discusses the likelihood of a building built at that time having an asbestos problem. Almost 100% likely. There is no indication that they even inspected it for asbestos.
Asbestos removal is a racket for those involved. Corrupted to the core. We waste our resources when it is excessive and time consuming for the benefit of the interests removing it.
