People have been saying for years that primary education is failing. But the only solutions offered are to raise taxes and give more money to schools.

We already pay more per student than any country in the world so money is not the problem. The NEA is the problem.

Why can't we just copy Sweden or South Korea's school system (Numbers one and two in Math) and augment it with English language studies?

Oh yeah, the NEA won't allow it.

Americas schools have been going down hill ever since the liberals took them over.

But I can't blame it ALL on the liberals. Kids today are the biggest bunch of arrogant little shits I've ever seen. They're not learning anything about discipline or consequences for their actions at home either.

Because in our schools "no child is left behind" and students are "socially promoted" in order to protect their self esteem. Its really quite simple. In a utopian world of strawberry fields and marshmallow farms, every child is guaranteed a diploma regardless of skills. Its supposed to keep.them out of jail or some shit.
