Where does that leave Dole? Case and point. Gingrich created the 4 balanced budgets and welfare reform and without him it wouldn't have happened.

Of course the Majority leader isn't in line for the Presidency, Majority leader wasn't even written into the constitution, because there were no political parties when it was written. What do you expect anyway? For there to be two Senate officials in line for the Presidency??

The deficit was going down before the shutdown, and likely would've been balanced anyway, maybe the surplus was a bit bigger but it's debatable at what cost. Plus it's not like the GOP kept the surplus around very long once Bush was in office...."Hey! Let's start two wars and cut taxes at the same time!! Great idea huh?"

He sells his books and raises tons of money for himself with his speaking engagements and in perpetually putting it out there that he's maybe kind-of sort-of half-running for the presidency at all times.

He's a joke and a scam and a cheat. I don't know why anyone would want to watch his stupid face all night, particularly on CNN.
