Washington Post audio of Trump berating and threatening Georgia Secretary of State for not "finding" votes to change election result. Sedition?

President Trump urged fellow Republican Brad Raffensperger, the Georgia secretary of state, to “find” enough votes to overturn his defeat in an extraordinary one-hour phone call Saturday that election experts said raised legal questions.

The Washington Post obtained a recording of the conversation in which Trump alternately berated Raffensperger, tried to flatter him, begged him to act and threatened him with vague criminal consequences if the secretary of state refused to pursue his false claims, at one point warning that Raffensperger was taking “a big risk.”

Throughout the call, Raffensperger and his office’s general counsel rejected Trump’s assertions, explaining that the president is relying on debunked conspiracy theories and that President-elect Joe Biden’s 11,779-vote victory in Georgia was fair and accurate.

Trump is talking about sedition and overturning the will of the people through fraud.

Trump should be arrested for sedition for attempting to overthrow the newly elected governement of the United States of America.
sounds just like your Russian Collusion bullshit
There's a audio tape, genius.
How did they get it?

Your story is behind a paywall.

FAIL!
How the audio was obtained is beside the point and has absolutely no bearing on a seditious act by a sitting President. He should be impeached again vigorously! Bigly!!!
Whenever someone records some douchebag Dim politician confessing to some illegal act, all you minions immediately start claiming the recording was obtained illegal and that it should be ignored as a result.

ACORN filmmaker James O’Keefe sentenced in Sen. Mary Landrieu break-in
Nice link. Did you happen to read it?

Doubt it.
Yes.

What's your point?
Because it’s irrelevant.
It's totally relevant. All you sleazy Trump haters whined for months about Veritas recording that conversation.
Your article talks about Okeefe being charged with crimes that have nothing to do with recording a conversation but illegally accessing a federal office under false pretenses.

I’m in a bad mood, so sorry if this blunt, but you really are a special kind of stupid.
It doesn't matter what he was charged with. The reason the Senator and the left got so hysterical is the fact that he recorded the goings on in the sleazy senator's office. I didn't even know that recording what the public has a right to know about could possibly be a crime.
Doubling down on your stupidity is ballsy, but expected.

His criminal charges had nothing to do with recording anything.
Of course not. The manufactured whatever crime they were able to. However, we all know his real crime was recording his visit to the senator's office.

Everything Trump touches dies.

Unfortunately WAPO is not a reliable source.

yeah sure go back and read OAN.

BTW, they posted the audio of the call at WAPO for you’ll with degrees from most SEC schools. You can hear it for yourselves without actually having to read.
Could you translate that gibberish into English?
Sorry, perhaps your remedial English teacher can help you out with it.

It shouldn't surprise anyone that the closer we get to Biden's inauguration the more manic Trumpies become.

Clock is ticking now.

Trump sweats in desperation

S.D.N.Y waits.
It looks to me like all you Trump haters are the ones who are getting manic.
They're worried about Trump winning if states decide their nauseating and teal voter fraud is unveiled in the massive scale as administrated by leftist deep staters. And they should worry because such a vote has two precedents.
They are worried. That much is obvious. Look at all the emotionally disturbed outpatients flocking to this forum. They have an urgent need to vent their nauseating feelings to the world.

Mueller is bullshitting you with bogus legal crap, you fell for it hard.

Because that's what Mueller is known for. Bogus legal crap. God you're so smart. Why aren't you part of Trumps legal team given your expertise to see bogus legal crap that everyone missed! You are some kind of special Tommy.

Have you contacted Trump. I'm sure he would be interested in your skills. You'd be surrounded by peers that think as you.... lucky dog. One can only imagine the conversations y'all would have.

.
Mueller is noted for convicting people who are totally innocent.

Noted.... by who?

President Trump has filed two lawsuits against Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger over a leaked phone call obtained and published by the Washington Post on Sunday, in which Trump badgered the Georgia official over election fraud.

David Shafer on Twitter: "The audio published by @TheWashingtonPost is heavily edited and omits the stipulation that all discussions were for the purpose of settling litigation and confidential under federal and state law." / Twitter

Dinesh D'Souza on Twitter: "I’m not making a threat, but rather simply saying a fact, when I say that any Republican member of the House or Senate who refuses to object to election fraud next week is basically finished as a leader in the Republican Party. Time to start packing!" / Twitter

Comment:
This could be the case that unravels the Georgia-Democrat-Abrams-Biden scheme to steal the state away from our president. Once this case is decided, all the other states will go for Trump on January 6th.
Hmm..., Leaked to the Washington Post, owned by Bezos who also owns Amazon where 90% of their merchandise is made in China.
Surely, Brad Raffensperger must realize that he has no future in Georgia electoral politics, especially with the GOP. Is he trying to ingratiate himself to the Progressive Marxist/DSA Democrats and the ChiComs? ...To whom or both? What is this idiot’s game plan?
Had Raffensperger completed a full and impartial audit and opened his ballots and machines to forensic analysis, he wouldn't be crying about the phone call.
Fulton County alone should be enough to turn the State, after being given a lawful order to Audit their vote, instead 4 hours later they were shredding the ballots they were required to audit.
To equate the President’s call with a pestering the SoS (POS) with minutia is beyond disrespect. In fact, it was the President being loyal to his oath on office, “To defend and protect the Constitution of the United States of America”

Sidney Powell, for one, and several courts of appeal.

I didn't even know that recording what the public has a right to know about could possibly be a crime.

And what was your reaction to being "educated"

Yes, because Washington is packed with corrupt politicians who don't want the public to know the truth.

Which makes your previous ignorance all the more amazing.

..just like all the other dumbshit--Mr Trump ties his shoes -IMPEACH him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Attempting to pressure a subordinate to "find some votes" is at best an abuse of power. Hardly insignificant.

The Secretary of State isn't a subordinate to the President since he isn't in the Administration branch of the Federal Government. Trump has no authority over him.

Asking someone isn't a crime, especially when NO blackmail or money or physical threat leverage was used against him.

Beautiful. Isn't it a crime in GA to record a phone call without the other party's consent?

It's not an employer/employee relationship, shit for brains. It's the same as if Trump was the head of the boyscouts and Raffensperger was just some scoutmaster.

Beautiful. Isn't it a crime in GA to record a phone call without the other party's consent?
NOPE

The language of Georgia's wiretapping law explains that it is a one-party consent law when it comes to recording other people's audio conversations.

Georgia's Video Recording Laws - ChancoSchiffer Law, LLC

Whether or not it was recorded with only 1 person's knowledge doesn't really matter. Why? Both are public officials, and conversations between public officials (if they don't contain classified information) are supposed to be part of the public record. Too bad Trump is too stupid to understand that. Part of being president means that every word you say, and every conversation that you have with other politicians can, and usually is, part of the public record.

Some of you people who think that the recording of Trump telling GA politicians to try to find some votes for him were illegal might wanna go back and study civics again.

Gee you chose to mock me, which means you can't address my post about NO charges found anywhere in the 400 plus page report which is 100% true and you know it!

By the way I have for several weeks now been attacking the Trump team over the election results, maybe you should remove your foot from your big fat mouth?
