Washington Post audio of Trump berating and threatening Georgia Secretary of State for not "finding" votes to change election result. Sedition?

President Trump urged fellow Republican Brad Raffensperger, the Georgia secretary of state, to “find” enough votes to overturn his defeat in an extraordinary one-hour phone call Saturday that election experts said raised legal questions.

The Washington Post obtained a recording of the conversation in which Trump alternately berated Raffensperger, tried to flatter him, begged him to act and threatened him with vague criminal consequences if the secretary of state refused to pursue his false claims, at one point warning that Raffensperger was taking “a big risk.”

Throughout the call, Raffensperger and his office’s general counsel rejected Trump’s assertions, explaining that the president is relying on debunked conspiracy theories and that President-elect Joe Biden’s 11,779-vote victory in Georgia was fair and accurate.

Trump is engaging of sedition and overturning the will of the people through fraud.

Trump should be arrested for sedition for attempting to overthrow the newly elected government of the United States of America.

Everything Trump touches dies.

Is American democracy next?
Slip me about 11,780 votes and if anybody asks any questions just tell them you re-calculated...LOL!!..idiot just may have committed a crime and with his lawyers sitting there in the room with him and didn't try and stop him..unbelievable.
That's because it wasn't a crime, moron.
it's a crime.
NOT.

You post arguments?

I never knew.

Trumpies, go and read the transcript and listen to Trump himself.

He's manic and stinks of desperation.

And could use some remedial English lessons.

But I'll state here, now and unequivocally and make this promise to all you Trumpies.

Reading the transcript or listening to the recording WILL NOT, I REPEAT... WILL NOT cause your eyes to explode or your ears to bleed.

I promise.

That your heads may figuratively explode is without doubt, but we'll cross that bridge when we get too it.
If this bastard doesn't go to jail over this, we've lost a country. It's that simple.

Nah, we'll be fine.

Don't believe everything you're reading as to how this republican charade is damaging our democratic republic.

In such a contentious historical election with Trump at the helm, our democracy and laws are working exactly as they should be.

As tiresome and loathsome as the republican shenanigans are, they have every legal right under our law to do what they're doing.

Just be patient, let it play out.
Probably so. Just the same, to not follow through with some type of punishment, only attracts more of it. We are creatures of habit. Especially bad habits.

Trump is going to be punished, don't worry. All his legal problems will be the living hell he so justly deserves and if it leads to prison.... that's a bonus.

Being labeled a loser, especially given his mental state, is an anguish he'll be wrestling with the rest of his life. He's in poor mental and physical health to begin with. If I had to make a prediction, after leaving office and a few months of bitching, people are going to ignore him and his health will rapidly deteriorate.
ROFL! When the progs start putting their sleazy fantasies on display it doesn't get any more nauseating.

Dear Retardican, I vividly remember you were "SURE" pussygrabber was going to win, I do give u points for resilience cause most Retardicans gave up and abandoned the forum, afraid of the mockery that would follow...

I'm clearly saying that your point is incorrect.
The facts don't lead to your conclusion.

There's a audio tape, genius.
How did they get it?

Your story is behind a paywall.

FAIL!
How the audio was obtained is beside the point and has absolutely no bearing on a seditious act by a sitting President. He should be impeached again vigorously! Bigly!!!
Whenever someone records some douchebag Dim politician confessing to some illegal act, all you minions immediately start claiming the recording was obtained illegal and that it should be ignored as a result.

Yes.

What's your point?
Because it’s irrelevant.
It's totally relevant. All you sleazy Trump haters whined for months about Veritas recording that conversation.
Your article talks about Okeefe being charged with crimes that have nothing to do with recording a conversation but illegally accessing a federal office under false pretenses.

I’m in a bad mood, so sorry if this blunt, but you really are a special kind of stupid.

Another butt hurt crybaby thread by left wing nutters. Time to move on nut jobs.
Non-argument and another Trump loser.

If I cared if Trump lost or not you’d have a point. I have watched this for four years and I figured after the election people would chill but the lost to Trump has the left still upset. I suspect for the next 30 plus years the Dems will still be crying about Trump.

Your butt hurt is boring, but maybe you feel with Biden as President, this is all you have. I’m wondering when the left will look forward to Biden instead of backward to Trump. Hell, Biden wants to heal and move forward for the benefit of the country, it is obvious most lefties don’t, they want to live in the past just like they did after Reagan left office.

I'm sure that's all very interesting in your kindergarten romper room but yes, the LAW. And the violation thereof.

Trust me. The chiefs mess eats way way better than the ships crew. I know since I was TAD to the chiefs mess when first stationed aboard the Eisenhower CVN-69.

You're right, the CPO mess DOES eat better than the general crew. However, part of that is because they pay dues to the mess so they can afford that better chow.

PRESIDENT TRUMP won Georgia in a landslide.
Trump lost the original count, Trump lost the recount, Trump lost the hand count, and Trump lost every other way that Georgia counted the votes.

The sec of state certified the count, and the governor signed the certification.

And the real kicker is that the georgia certification was done entirely by republicans.

Another "perfect" call. Just like the illegal Ukraine call that led to his impeachment.

George Conway isn't fit to host a rerun of Hee Haw enjoy you Chinese globalist masters.

The thread isn't about "George Conway". It's about the fucking LAW.
Thread title: “GEORGE CONWAY EXPLAINS......”

Is three words your reading limit? That figures. Need a break?

When you come back from recess we'll explore the fascinating question: "George Conway explains...... what?"

According to the Post report, Trump told Republican Brad Raffensperger, "So look. All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have.

That, Conway suggested, amounted to election tampering.

the relevant penalties for attempting or proposing fraud.

52 U.S.C § 20511(2)(B): "A person, including an election official, who in any election for Federal office- knowingly and willfully deprives, defrauds, or attempts to deprive or defraud the residents of a State of a fair and impartially conducted election process, by- (A) the procurement or submission of voter registration applications that are known by the person to be materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent under the laws of the State in which the election is held; or
(B) the procurement, casting, or tabulation of ballots that are known by the person to be materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent under the laws of the State in which the election is held, hall be fined in accordance with title 18 (which fines shall be paid into the general fund of the Treasury, miscellaneous receipts (pursuant to section 3302 of title 31), notwithstanding any other law), or imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both."

And that boys and girls, is not a conspiracy theory. It is not TDS. It is not flaming or trolling. The phone call by Trump actually happened. He actually did ask the Georgia AG to act on his behalf. The federal code really does make it a crime. He really is the President, and was a candidate for reelection. This really is politics.

Which means this post by any measure belongs right here.
If you listen to conway you have issues

George Conway sez?

What, they couldn’t find drunk Hillary to get her opinion?

Actually the LAW sez. Doesn't matter who reads it.
What law?

Isn't that special. Here's a klown from the Special Bus who actually QUOTES THE POST WITH THE LAW IN IT, and then goes, "what law". Playing peek-a-boo with the posts.

SMGDH
Quote Trump violating your law, Sport.

Already did. Say aren't you the same intellectual baboon who quoted the actual law and then went "what law"? It was right around there.

It doesn't matter what he was charged with. The reason the Senator and the left got so hysterical is the fact that he recorded the goings on in the sleazy senator's office. I didn't even know that recording what the public has a right to know about could possibly be a crime.
