Zone1 Was The Garden Of Eden A Real Place?

I think Jesus was real. I don't believe he walked on water. The Bible is a history of the Jews... Starting with Adam and Eve, 6000 years ago.
If you don't believe the Bible is God's word and you don't believe Jesus was his son and our savior, you are not a Christian.

The Bible stories are fiction borrowed from other cultures.
The Bible is the history and prophesies about Israel. Other nations are mentioned only as they interact with Israel.

she claims she is a Christian while not believing the Bible is God's word and not believing Jesus was the savior and God's son.

"Jews" are the descendants of Judah, Jacob/Israel's fourth son.

IMHO she is Christian in name only.
IMHO she believes the MOST IMPORTANT STUFF---to wit Jesus
started it and the jews killed him. The muslims have a similar
religion----muhummad started it----and the jews killed him.
and then there is Mithraism

That's not the most important part. Not even close.

Funny but actually he wasn't. Did you know some consider it to be the oldest book in the Bible?
yes-----it is something like the beginning of Genesis---the garden and
Cain and Abel part. and the Jonah story. fanciful

Given that the account stretched back to the time of Joseph it would be surprising if there were never any Jewish presence in Egypt.

The Jews were a landless Canaanite tribe from Urfa near Haran.

Probably not. I think he doesn't need embellishments.
That's the point though. The miracles are the point of those accounts whereas everywhere else in the Bible the embellishments weren't the points of those accounts but were used to make the accounts more memorable so they could be passed down more easily by making them easier to remember.
