Trump's ceding the decision committing the United States to yet another Middle Eastern regime-change quagmire is opposed by most Americans, including a growing number of MAGAs.

The Trump regime has failed to provide any credible evidence that Iran was even remotely capable of the imminent attack on the U.S. they have concocted as a pretext.

Iran has been an ongoing pain in our ass for decades. We have been presented an opportunity to get rid of the Mullahs at the same time a large portion of Iran's population wants them gone as well.

I don't care what they claim to put the UN and you idiots in a tizzy, getting rid of the Mullahs is a good thing for the entire world, except for Russia, China and Cuba.

Under your presumed analogy, who is the mature, reasonable party?
The GOP is more the 'parenting' party. Sadly, their 'children' are a bunch of miscreants. Liberals are too permissive to be good 'parents'.

I now see Trump supporters shading the argument...

They do this because Trump said he wouldn’t start any wars. Just a quick note...Trump lies more than anyone in the history of the nation...you don’t really need to try to salvage his reputation as being completely dishonest.

Anyway, I was hoping to see if the board is really buying the malarkey.
Thank you for your meaningless contribution.

Iran has been at war with us fir 47 years so how did Trump start it. Trump is ending it

This war definitely has national security and political risks for America, the GOP and Trump. For the mid-terms and 2028.

One can only hope Trump has been making sound decisions based on solid intel that will benefit America in the future. If Iranians are able to elect their next leader they will finally be free.

If insurgents who are not supportive of the West or an unpopular leader is placed as a figurehead, it will only delay the inevitable collapse.

I regard it as being eminently mature and sensible for most Americans, including prominent MAGAs, to be opposed to Netanyau/Trump's lethal regime change gambit that has succeeded in further destabilizing the Middle East, replacing the elderly Supreme Leader with his son.

Trump could have done what Netanyahu told him, and replaced Iran's elderly Supreme Leader with his son as far back as 2017?

Wow.

Why does a large majority of Americans oppose Trump's nation-building adventurism?

47 committed an act of war. So much for the peace prize.
