I think what he is trying to point out. Is that since WWII America has been unwilling to fight a war to win. We fire bombed cities in WWII not because we are blood thirsty assholes that wanted to kill Civilians. We did it because we did not want to lose. Period.

Even though the US was supposed to be ***NEUTRAL****, ******* FDR was behind the scenes fighting Japan in Indochina by proxy.


Then in order to provoke Hirohito , FDR froze his assets and refuse to sell them oil.

FDR knew that Japan was going to attack Pearl Harbor but did nothing in order to unite Americans in his effort to join WWII and assist the UK.

The reason wars last so long is because we don't firebomb the shit out of civilians. Currently, most of our wars are against terrorists rather than governments. And guess who the terrorists attack? It certainly isn't military installations.
