I'm starting this thread for folks to post information on this war. I'm already tiring of trying to find the appropriate thread to post updated information on this fast evolving event.
Hopefully the administration can bring it to an end before it spirals into the doom of the planet.
We'll start with this information that I just learned of tonight.

Is this evidence things aren't going well?
Navy Secretary John Phelan was fired after conflicts with senior Pentagon leadership (PETE HEGSETH) over shipbuilding, U.S. President
Donald Trump said on Thursday.
- "He's a hard charger, and he had some conflicts with some other people (PETE HEGSETH), mostly as to building and buying new ships," Trump told reporters in the Oval Office. "Got to get along, especially in the military, got to get along, you know. And some people liked him, some people didn't (PETE HEGSETH), and that's usually the truth about everything."
- Sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity, previously told Reuters that Phelan was dismissed in part because he was moving too slowly to implement reforms to speed shipbuilding and because he had fallen out with key Pentagon leadership. (PETE HEGSETH)

Navy Secretary Richard Spencer fired in dispute over discipline of SEAL
Spencer opposed President Donald Trump's order that Chief Petty Officer Eddie Gallagher remain in the elite SEALs.
In a letter to Trump, Spencer said he acknowledged his "termination," saying the president deserved a Navy secretary "who is aligned with his vision."
"Unfortunately, it has become apparent that in this respect, I no longer share the same understanding with the Commander in Chief who appointed me," Spencer wrote.
"In regards to the key principle of good order and discipline, I cannot in good conscience obey an order that I believe violates the sacred oath I took in the presence of my family, my flag and my faith to support and defend the Constitution of the United States."
Don't listen to this Navy Seal or the Pope. Trump's a good man and doing a great job.
