Most 7th graders have learned how to figure RATIOS...and if you passed 7th grade....So, go on...Figure out the ratio of mass murders based on population and get back to us.

Speaking of ratios:
Calculate the number of guns in the US compared to the number of people murdered with a gun in the US.

Because they would be tied up in court endlessly by assholes looking to make a buck because a product performed as designed. How about we put the same onus on auto manufactures and dealers to ensure drivers are responsible or face law suits for their misuse? What do you think a car would cost? After all the 14th requires equal treatment under the law.

Actually, we should always follow what lobbyists push (aka, BRIBE) congress to do (and in some instance, NOT to do) when searching for legislation to curb an abuse of the common welfare and good.

Regarding mass murders, we know that gun manufacturers (and their bought puppet, the NRA) fought and won the right to NOT be sued for the misuse of their deadly products.

If we wanted to make a substantial dent with mass shootings (almost impossible to eliminate without reversing the Constitution's 2nd amendment) pass a law that gun manufacturers AND gun vendors can be sued when their product is sold WITHOUT a thorough background and psychological clean bill of health.

Look--that's not going to touch mass shootings. Criminals have guns--and they did not go through a background check to get that gun. Nut cases can get guns in the same manner (on the black market) as criminals do. To stop mass shootings at schools and college campus's

1. Take DOWN those stupid "Gun Free Zone" signs. They are an advertisement to ANY nut-case that they will not be deterred by anyone for killing as many people as they can. These maniacs are COWARDS--that's why they go there. The last thing they want is someone shooting back at them--that would ruin their plan if they were having to dodge bullets. These freaking signs are the equivalent of you putting a sign in front of your house, saying no one is home, and the door is unlocked.

2. Trained people with concealed weapons at schools & college campus's, would be a huge deterrent to these cowards looking for mass-slaughter. "A terrorist will ALWAYS seek the least path of resistance."

3. STOP the continual media coverage of mass killings. Many do it for their 15 minutes of fame. Their name should never be mentioned in any report, and the media and law enforcement should only refer to them as the COWARD.

These simple 3 things would stop the mass killings at schools and college campus's.

Bleeding heart liberals talk about how we are all responsible for "the carnage" in a handful of shootings. I am going to do something way out there and suggest it was the shooters that were responsible. It was not the guns that the shooter used nor any lack of legislation against murder already on the books.
