Funny how that always comes into the picture. Why does every one of these immigrants have two wives and eleven children, and why should that be a factor in the consideration?

That said, it sounds pretty weenie arresting the guy over some paperwork error from a decade ago. Doesn't sound to me like this is a bad guy they need to deport.

They also would have recoiled at the thought of a president allowing, for political gain, such illegal activity in the first place. Where is your outrage?

Our founding fathers had no concept of the illegal immigration. Moreover, they would have recoiled at the idea that the government could declare someone to be “illegal” by command of the executive and then deprive them of all rights.

When I read the constitution, it’s pretty clear it applies to people who have broken the law.
