What is probably the best example of what you said, is the VA Hospital nationwide organization.
20 years ago, there were many whites working in the VA hospitals, especially doctors. This changed immensely, during the 8 years of the Obama administration.
In the last few years, I have been a patient in 2 of these hospitals & both are the same. You could walk the long hallways every day for a week, and not see a white person, among doctors, nurses, technicians, clerical, cafeteria, and maintenance workers.
This Affirmative Action discrimination actually goes much further back in time, and sometimes discriminates against more than just whites. In 1977, my graduate school gave out 8 assistanships to the only 8 blacks who applied (most of whom were at bottom of the class academically). Among those denied were women, Hispanics, & Asians.
