The reality is much simpler – people use guns to protect themselves all the time and the vast majority of those don’t involve anyone getting shot at all. The majority of shootouts are between rival criminals and the majority of the remainders are innocent and HELPLESS vics of criminals.

Not many criminals want to get into a gun fight – there is no way they can win.

It's amazing how absurd the liberal narrative is. My favorite is how they claim that "blood will run in the streets" every time another state enacts conceal carry. And yet it has never failed to lower crime. Never. In fact, they see less fights because people aren't quite so brave when they have concern that someone else might have a gun on them.

My second favorite is how they claim that law abiding citizens kill everyone in the building when they pull their guns, but sociopathic criminals harm no one as long as people comply. Good grief, can these people be any dumber?
