VOTE: Should a child born on US soil automatically be a US citizen?

The bolded part is not true. They can and have been deported. Biden didn't but he's no longer the sheriff.
both child and parent(s)? well good, that is how it should work here like it does in other countries

The child can stay if the parents give up custody like to a relative that is here legally. Under the current interpretation of the 14th Amendment, the child is a US citizen and cannot involuntarily be deported except with the parents, but they do not lose their citizenship.

That is the problem, should not matter if they have legal relatives, the parent was illegal thus the child entered this country illegal before it was born
the child should not have citizenship to lose, they should never have it in the first place

deport, apply later the right way if they want to live in our country

not mean, same with many countries, we are just too damn lenient to invaders

17% of the population now is latino, more than doubled the past 20 years because of this clause

black population is rather flat, they can't walk across the Atlantic ocean

From what I was taught in school...........

If immigrants that have moved here have been certified as new citizens of the USA, then yes, their baby is a born American.
If they are NOT certified as citizens of the USA, then no, they are not USA citizens.
