Russian performance in the war for Ukraine has been abysmal. From poor intelligence to even worse operations. The Russian actions are now believed to be doomed to failure.

The questions facing Russia now is just how much they stand to lose. The “independent” regions known as the Soviet styled Peoples Republics are certainly up for grabs. And even the Crimea may be up for being liberated by the pro democracy forces in Ukraine.

Vlad needs a scapegoat. And over the last week he’s identified traitors and scum as the first wave. Read it for what it is. A purity purge in the classic Russian Style.

When Obama’s admin tried to get people to turn in neighbors and friends who were spreading disinformation about Obamacare. I like most was disgusted. The effort failed because freedom of expression, especially about political issues, is what the First is all about.
