I've yet to hear any other plausible reason to ask Zelensky to investigate Biden. Keep in mind, Impeached Trump put out a campaign ad about Biden getting Shokin fired because his son worked for Burisma. It's clearly about Impeached Trump's campaign. It's not about fighting corruption because Hunter Biden no longer works for Burisma, Zlochevsky settled his case with Ukraine and is no longer under investigation, Shokin is no longer Ukraine's Prosecutor General, Poroshenko is no longer Ukraine's president, and Biden is no longer VP. Zlochevsky was being legally and duly investigated by Britain. Shokin refused to cooperate. This had nothing to do with a trial until nearly a year later and the courts got involved to shut the investigation down due to lack of evidence. Evidence Shokin wouldn't share.
