Vin Scully is overrated. Always has been. He is however the obvious choice for the job.

Vin Scully : LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, THE DODGERS ARE THE CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD

*crowd roars*

"great pipes, but hard to work with", Bob Sacamano described Scully

DON LARSON IS ON FIRE! A PERFECT GAME! JACKIE ROBINSON IS GETTING PUMELLED!

(i'm half-drunk)

Vin called once called a World Series game that lasted a record 4 hours and 18 minutes at the time

Very cool.

Baseball is, in part, as great as it is due to the history of the game. Scully is like a living part of that history.

I'm no Dodgers fan, but I am a life-long baseball fan.

Love it.

Mel Allen had incredible numbers and Vin just meshed them into poetry. DYNAMIC DUO!

the Brooklyn Dodgers were the Marilyn Monroe of baseball, my friends!
